I think my cat wants to kill me?

I have adopted a cat from my friend few week ago. At first he was normal and seemed a bit shocked by the change of house and everything, but the last few nights he has been scaring the *hit out of me, firstly he keeps sitting on the corner of my bed just staring at me, one night I kept one eye open and watched him for 10 minutes and he wouldn't stop staring at me and when I wake up in the morning he is really close to my face, the next night I pushed him off my bed and he hissed loudly and bit me really hard and just jumped back on the bed, after that he turned very aggressive. When ever I come home from work he hisses really loudly and runs towards me. So I have to come home through the back door. When ever I put food out for him I have to be out of the house otherwise he runs towards me and starts biting and scratching me. I've tried locking the door when i go to bed but the door is suddenly covered in scratch marks and my sofa and over things are torn to pieces and one time he came towards me so I quickly picked him up and held him in the air and prevented him from getting me but he just start to go crazy and started to viciously shake, meow and hiss really loudly and continuously kept trying to gnaw at my face whilst biting the crap out of my hands... I'm worried, I have to climb through my window to get to work. That's how bad it is, what should I do?

Movies in which people have to barricade themselves in stores malls house anywere?

Why does my Sheltie Chew on his leg?

Sometimes my Sheltie will bite his leg and gnaw on it. He will just lay there with his mouth latched onto his upper leg. Is this an allergy thing or a nervous thing? Does anyone else's dog do this?

Should I be worried about black bears near my property?

i also live in wisconsin, i dont think it is a huge issue having the bears there. As long as your house is locked up tight you should be fine until they move elsewhere. For your apple picking, make sure you can see the bears at all times, and if they start to approach at all, make sure you have a plan of "escape" because the nature is unpredictible. If you start to feel uncomfortable at home or being outside, you could always contact the DNR. Black Bears are afraid of loud noises and typically run, if you are in between their cub, that will not do anything. More than likley tthey will try and get rid of the threat (you). Maybe if it is possible, you could have a DNR worker come and stay when you harvest the apples.

She probably already had a weak point in the vein that just eventually broke, and it probably would have happened anyway regardless of the current stressful situation. Gaming Computers which is better?

You're wasting money on both of those computers. Get a better video card and/or a weaker cpu. It'll cost less or you can get a much better gaming computer for the same price. I suggest the 965BE or 955BE with GTX 460 if you want to go cheaper. Or if you want to spend the same amount of money, get one of the suggested CPUs with a GTX 570. The 460 route will be around 10% better than your setups, and the 570 route will be almost double the performance of your i5/550 or x6/5770.

Why does my kitten bite my hand when i'm just petting him?

How to teach my raw-fed dog to chew?

It may sound strange, but my 7.4 lb Pom/Chi acts like she doesn't know what to do with large pieces of meat or a bone. Today I bought some organic chicken drumsticks at trader joes just to see if she'd eat poultry and make sure she did ok on it (she hated paw naturaw chicken and turkey patties and did poorly on them) before i ordered the really good stuff from Tropical Traditions. She liked it and her energy has been good, but she won't really chew it herself. I have to cut off tiny pieces at a time for her to eat it. She seems to really want it, barking at me, etc. But when I tried to put the whole thing in her dish she just licked it forever and walked away. I tried teasing her with it, cuting chunks 99% off so she only had to make one bite, etc. She just does not want to bite it or rip a piece off. It's like she's being gentle lol. How do I get her to go to town on it? I want her to gnaw the bone at least enough to clean her teeth. I also brush them daily, but I know bones are best for dental benefits. I used to be opposed to bones as a choking hazard, but I would at the very least like her to eat necks, and she won't put anything at all into her mouth unless it's already bite sized

Honestly I'm the youngest so everything has been literally handed to me. I am terrible confidence issues so that doesn't really help either. If you mean that the "width" and "height" of the 2-D array can be different values, yes. But if you mean that you can have varying length in either of those fields, I don't think it's possible. It may be best to simply allocate memory for the maximum length of whichever dimension is "variable"

It may be related to the biting. Keep an eye on it and if it doesn't go away, check in with the vet. Also if she is allergic to fleas, make sure she is on a high quality flea preventive such as Frontline Plus, Advantage, K9 Advantix. Ways to cope with depression/anxiety?

For the past few months I been going thru depression and anxiety. Anxiety is usually everyday but my depression if on one day then off another or just parts of the day. Goldfish EMERGENCY!!!!?

As far as I know fish don't actually "sleep" like we know it. Sometimes they may float in one spot for a long period of time which could be them resting. My goldfish have a tendency to float in one spot for a while but they are not upside down or stuck on the filter when they do this. Why is my new RAID Setup so slow ?

I don't know about raid on ATA so I'm assuming you have SATA drives. do you know if the drives are SATA I, II, etc? One is only 5400 RPM which is pretty darn slow, and they're laptop drives. I was thinking on doing a RAID array in my upcoming build, would think that its best to get two identical drives at least 7200 RPM. also, striped is RAID 0, mirror RAID 1, striped mirror is probably RAID 10. or 1+0, same thing.

Why can't I connect to the internet?

I have a net-book that I brought to my friends house, and wanted to connect to the internet.I find his wireless signal, and it connects and says that my connection is excellent. However, when I open Internet Explorer it pops up with an error message titled "No Script" and underneath it says"*Line 1, Column 1 Syntax error:value, object or array expected." After I close the box all that I see is a page with the "Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage". I can't go to any websites, all of them say the same thing. Buy her a salt lick or mineral block, it can be attached to the cage or left on the floor and is too heavy for a WW to move very far, it's hard enough to keep her teeth in check and it's flavored so she'll like using it, plus she'll get nutrients she needs. As far as the dough thing goes I'd see if you could chop off bits covered in pee, or clean it off, otherwise it's best to get another. Hamster pee can smell pretty bad after a while and will attract all sorts of bacteria.

How do I go about asking my wife to slim down and do a little makeover?

My wife used to be one hot mama. Now that we've been together a while (no kids) she has started to let herself go. She's put on some weight, especially in the face, and doesn't do much with her hair or face anymore. How will the "Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act 2011" effect those who have been given the 3 or 10 year bars. Shouldn't they be given the opportunity to return before we give amnesty to those who are here illegally and who had no intention to ever step forward and apply for residency in the U.S.? I feel President Obama should consider all of these folks before moving forward. It only seems fair to do it this way. I would love to be able to pack up and just live in Mexico but considering that I'm over 50 and have been through 5 years of losing everything, I feel I must stay here and do my best to build some type of retirement for us when he gets to return in 2016. It's tough when your lives are passing fast and we can be together to enjoy our younger years. I am not financially equipped to travel to Mexico often as it is. Any advice or recommendation would be helpfu. I really don't want to receive answers...like ... he came illegally and that's all that can be done considering there are millions here illegally who never had the intention to be document. My hair wont hold style anymore?

I don't like using a straightener or curling iron because it fries my hair, so I had quite a good idea at the beginning of the year. To use braids and other twists and stuffs to style my hair. Hell I could put it in a bun while its wet and usually in the morning it would come out decent. Lately, I haven't been able to style my hair with a twist braid (which used to give the most...held together style for me) and I don't have a clue why. My hair is the same length as it was before, and the only thing I am thinking is if my hair has either a:become so unhealthy that it just can't style and is only frizzy and puffy when I take out the braid(s), twist(s), etc, or b its because of the heat. I am quite unsure about both for one I don't style my hair outside so it doesn't become frizzy from being outside it happens over night or whenever I have these in my hair for hours. And the first one, well the back of my head sometimes holds some of the twist or whatever I have going on and feels soft and silky, the fronts don't especially. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out 4 weeks ago. Last weekend I started having pain in my lower right area. I went to the dentist, and he took an x-ray and said there was inflammation around the end of the root of the 2nd molar. He said it was caused by a cross-bite that developed since I had my wisdom teeth removed, so he ground down the teeth that were hitting each other at an angle so they wouldn't hit each other any more. It has been 48 hours and the pain has not gone away, it is just a constant gnawing pain and my lower right jaw feels swollen and the outside area of the gums around and behind that tooth are sore. When I put pressure on the side of the gums where it hurts, a small amount of reddish liquid comes out from around the gum line around that tooth.

Ok, sorry if it seems like these are the only kind of questions I ask. :P Anyway, I watched this movie on demand from Comcast once and it was on Fear net. So it was about these teens sending in audition tapes because they wanted to be on some new reality tv show. And they had to say what their worst fear was on the tape. So they get accepted onto the "show" and are taken to this warehouse looking place? I don't remember what it was exactly. But it turns out that there was no tv show (surprise surprise.. lol) and that the killer was going to use their worst fears to kill them. I know that there was a black guy... and there were 2 blonde twins, a boy and a girl. And I remember that the twins worst fear was to see something happen to each other. So the killer strapped them into chairs facing each other with a drills on each side pointing towards their heads. Each twin had a button that when they hit it it would start the drill that's facing them, so that they could die for their sibling if they wanted to. That's basically the only death I remember. BUT! At the end of the movie, one of the girls who survived figured out that the killer was her father... and she locked him in this place and set it on fire, but he escaped and that was the end of the movie. This has been bugging me for legit, 3 years now and it would mean SOOOO much if someone could help me out! Hi I just bought a 60 gallon tank and set up and I've decided to make it a cichlid tank. I've always loved saltwater tanks so im a bit more attracted to the extremely colorful ones but don't want to mix and match at my fish's peril if they wont get along. if you have any suggestions for specific types of cichlids and the numbers they would be happiest in id love to hear it. Another question I had is if I can keep bamboo in the tank? Day 42 of cycle, no PMS symptoms (PCOS)?

Hi all, Apparently I have very, very mild PCOS and have had it for years. My periods were only regular at one point in my life coming every 28-30 days. For the last 3 years, prob due to an array of small factors, my period seems to come anywhere between every 38-43 days. The thing is, I usually have PMS symptoms at least a week before. Right now I am on day 42 and really can't say I have any PMS symptoms. This is pretty late in my cycle, so I would probably have them by now. Has anyone else experienced this? I doubt I'm pregnant and would be SHOCKED. Esp. since I really have no symptoms.

I felt exacty the same way when me cat died. If he's getting arthritic, and not playing very much anymore, it's definently a sign that he's getting old. But who says he can't get old normally? All puppies twitch in their sleep -it is part of their REM sleep. He is still very much a baby. He will sleep a lot and not be able to do much by the way of potty training yet. I don't think I would try hard (other than taking him out frequently) for a few weeks yet. Just cuddle him a lot, let him sleep, be sure he is fed often and wait for him to grow up a little. My hamster is acting strange?

What NaturalE said - go get a teething net. They're super cheap and you can put dang near anything in them. My baby eats all kinds of fruits and veggies through the thing, and she will never be in danger of choking. The baby gets to sort of 'juice' the stuff inside. It is contained in the mesh. They LOVE them. Even if you're watching the baby closely, it's not difficult for him to bust off a piece of something and choke. If he just likes to chew on stuff, give him a cool, wet, (clean) washcloth to gnaw on too - it's been a teething lifesaver for me before.

My first impressions of the novel the"The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini was that is was going to be a very tragic story. Before the audience even knows the protaginist name, we find out that a winder day in 1975 changed his. Right away, I predicted that Amir did something that he still regrets to this day. We find out that he has been trying to forget some secret for 26 years. After Baba's statement, "God help us all if Afghanistan ever falls into hands," I got the feeling that someone of great power was going to take over and control Afghanistan. I got the impression that Amir was jelous of Hassan. I got this impression because of when hassan points out the probelm of the plot of his story. I also got the feeling that Amir picked on Hassan because that was how he could let his anger out. Up to chapter 5 of the novel, Amir doesnt show anger to anyone else, I feel that he only feels comfortable critizing hassan because they are such good frieds. The only part I felt challenging about the novel was all of the characters names. The names sound the same in a way, that part I found a little confusing. I cannot specificall relatate any of my personal experiences to the novel, but however I can relate this novel to the novel NIGHT by Elie Wiesel. So far what I have read about the kite runner is that Amir is struggling with his past. While in the novel the night, Elie is struggling to survive the horrors of the Concentration camps. Both the novels are dealing with someone taking over their country. In the country it seems to me like the Taliban are going to takeover, and in the night it was the Germans who were in control of the Jewish. A question that I was wondering about the novel is why can Baba just accept that his son is not athletic and will not be a spectator? If I was Baba I would feel proud of my son that he was a talented reader and writer, and that sometime he might be a famous author. I also wondered why Amir is afraid to be Hassans true friend, i got the impression it was because he was a servent and didnt want people to think less of him. But i wonder is there more to that? From what I have read so far, i beleive that one of the themes of the novel will be friendship .The characters were well drawn and my heart went out to the trotting-old servant and Hassan. No one is sure of anything, certainly not their safety!

Honestly, I love it. As soon as I read your first sentence, I was engrossed in the story. You are very talented and use great imagery. I could imagine the junior strutting like a gorilla. This is on the way to becoming a very incredible story. As for the believability, I can see it happening but I like having it as something more in my imagination, giving myself opportunities to create my own possibilities and assumptions of what happens next. I've developed excessive anger?

I tried to create an outlet, I began drawing. But I got mad that I couldn't draw like I wanted, so I threw it all away. I get too aggravated to finish or study for incessant tests at my school... but it's an anger beyond annoyance and it goes into hatred. I counted 9 people today that crossed my mind as people I wanted to kill. Because of their appearance. I understand that I'm a teenager, and wanting to kill people is absurd and very over rated, but the only thing that doesn't piss me off is the thought of killing them. I was quite down for a couple of years, and this turn towards anger is alien to me. I've also been using the most awful language, which I don't usually do because it's pathetic. So I'd like advice on how to cope. So far to dilute the hatred, gnawing at myself and hitting pillows and such has helped. This has only been a couple months or so though, so it's nothing drastic. Hair dye tips and help?

So I'm going to grow my hair down to my knees and might dye it with Stargazer Hair Dye (Tropical Green). It would be new and healthy hair, but if I dyed, which will include bleaching all of it, would that end up me having worse hair than I did before? My hair is thick and I have dyed it with bleach, black, blue, etc. It has survived perfectly fine. But...IF I BLEACH THAT MUCH HAIR WOULD IT BE IN WORSE CONDITION THAN BEFORE? Best caribbean destination?

My husband and I are starting to think about next year's vacation. We would like to go sometime in May. It remains to be seen if we will be able to afford Hawaii, which is my first choice of destination. My second choice would be somewhere in the eastern or south eastern caribbean. My only concern about flying in and staying on a caribbean island would be running out of activities and things to do. I am sure we would spend some time laying on the beach...but you can only do that for so many days. I would also want to do alot of sightseeing and possibly be able to rent a self-guided boat (no guide) for a day to go explore on our own. Does anyone know of any islands that have a wide array of sightseeing and activities? I had Turks/Caicos and USVI at the top of my list. Would either of those be good? Thanks!

its normal, hamsters like to build nests, and just feed her once a day. Completly normal, nothing to worry about. About the chewing, my hamster does the same thing! i gave her toilet paper tubes and she seems to like that, chewing on the bars wont hurt her though, its trimming back her teeth.
