On the spiritual world?

How many of you think the spiritual world functions similar to this one? Such predation, spirits preying on one another to sustain their own existence. I think this is how gods survive, from feeding off of their believers. Also, things like sleep, feeding, evolution, some strange kind of gravity, ect. Just random thoughts on this?
