Can't decide between these two computers! Please help?

It really depends on what you would use the computer for. In terms of raw processing power, the second computer's quad-core i7 blows an i5 (dual-core) out of the water. The i7 has twice the cache size as well, resulting in faster operations, such as streaming video. The second computer also has an extra 140GB of hard drive space, but depending on your applications, that may or may not make a difference. As for the first computer, switchable graphics will, in theory, mean a more energy-efficient system than the second computer, as it will only use dedicated graphics when a more graphics-intensive task is running. All this being said, both computers are great for everyday use. If you need hard-core gaming or multimedia processing, however, the second computer is the way to go.
